Tread Lightly is a climate change education and youth engagement initiative developed by TakingITGlobal (TIG). The program provides innovative tools and resources for educators seeking to engage high school students in collaborative environmental education.

Here, you can access climate change lesson plans and create your own Tread Lightly virtual classroom (see a preview!) equipped with blogs, maps, image galleries, live video chats, discussion boards, and online file storage - all within a private, secure and advertising-free online environment. Connect with other classes around the world, providing a plethora of possibilities for international and collaborative climate change learning.
